India has rebuffed a call by the United States for it to ask Iran to suspend its uranium enrichment programme.

The foreign ministry said neither India nor Iran needed external guidance on how to conduct bilateral relations.

It said relations between the two spanned centuries, and they were capable of handling them with due care.

  1. “…spanned centuries…”, huh? Here’s an idea, maybe we could ask India what WE should be saying to Iran. Seems like they haven’t had any wars in the last several hundred years so they’re doing something right. That is, if good relations are truly your goal… wait, what?

  2. Like when was “good relations” between countries EVER based on moral and ethical principles! Remember how YOU guys failed in Korea, Vietnam, Bosnia, Rwanda and of course, Iraq; that’s besides how WE guys have failed in other means.
Seems foolish that we should form opinions based on world politics! Utterly foolish if I may say so!
