If the news is important it will find me

Question for you all: is the Daily Irrelevant part of your lean forward sites, or are you still following the news in the “old-fashioned” way?

I’m leaning forward as I read The Daily Irrelevant, but that might have something to do with losing my “monitor distance” glasses and having to use my reading glasses instead. :)
To be serious for a tiny moment… I lean forward for this site because I respect your political antennae, your astute analysis of social trends and your finely honed bullshit detector. And of course, all the laughs.

I’ve ordered some new glasses. My neck aches with all this leaning.

This is my first and favorite lean of the day, my “Morning Paper”.
I love this site, for all the same reasons Michael mentions. This gives new meaning to “tuning in” - I feel your posts resonate on the same frequency as my interests do. Ohmmmm.

    Thank you all!

Definitely lean forward; I don’t read newspapers/ watch TV at all, just this blog and my tumblr-dashboard (oh, and boingboing ofcourse) and still I feel like I’m up-to-date with all important news.

This says something scary of our culture. Or of me.
