Hats banned from Yorkshire pubs over CCTV fears

[Quote:]

Pubs in Yorkshire have been ordered to ban people from wearing flat caps or other hats so troublemakers can be more easily recognised.

The Park Hotel in Wadsley, Sheffield, is the latest to be asked to impose the rule by senior police officers.

Mark Kelly, the landlord said: “Police asked us to ensure that everyone removes headgear.

Well I hope the Police tape their caps off when then go in.

And for this to happen in Yorkshire, the home of the flat hat. Unbelievable

  2. Roland Hesz Says:

If you wear a hat you are a troublemaker? Did they tell it to the guards with the huge hats, the beefeaters at the Tower, the Queen (the crown is a headgear too) ?
And next thing, you will have to sit facing a camera, chin lifted, never looking left, right, up or down, so they can clearly see your face all the time?
    It’s borderline idiocy..
