[Quote:]

A group of priests in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Manchester in New Hampshire is asking fellow priests to contribute money to help those who were stripped of their ministry for sexually abusing minors.

The Rev. Michael Griffin, president of the newly formed Organization of Concerned Priests, tells the Union Leader newspaper, they began to sympathize with the men involved in the scandal. He said, “We could not imagine how we could have coped if we were in their shoes.”

In other news, the Vatican demands an immediate investigation into what the atheists knew and when they knew it.

  1. Another quote from the same news story; “Since starting the effort, it has been expanded to include helping sick and retired priests.” Of course they expanded the program because the original idea sucked. After all, where do the priests get their money to donate?
