The only country in the world that hasn’t ratified the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child is the USA. The only country that hasn’t even signed it is Somalia, but they don’t even have a government that can do that.

I guess it’s because one of those “freedoms” you hear the US having – the freedom to drag children under ten into court for non-crimes which only exist to protect the profits of big business.
