A May 2006 study of oil production and export figures by Platt’s Oilgram News, an industry magazine, showed that up to $3 billion a year is unaccounted for.

In plaats van dat u onschuldig bent, totdat schuld in rechte is komen vast te staan en dat Justitie wettig en overtuigend dient te bewijzen dat u de dader bent, dient u dat nu te doen. Als vroeger een bezwaarschrift werd ingediend waarbij gevraagd werd om iets simpels als het ijkrapport, werd dit steevast afgewezen. Volgens de Hoge Raad staat nergens in de Wet Mulder beschreven dat u daar recht op hebt. Technisch klopt dit, maar Flitsservice.nl heeft al vaker bewezen dat radarapparatuur soms ongeijkt is, zoals u hier en hier kunt lezen.
Gelukkig is daar nu de Wet Openbaarheid Bestuur(WOB). Al een aantal jaar geleden werd door de heer Jan van Dijk, die helaas veel te vroeg overleden is, een procedure gewonnen die Justitie verplichtte om onder de WOB alle relevante stukken toe te sturen.

De 33 jarige man deed een WOB verzoek aan de Centrale Verwerking Openbaar Ministerie (cvOM) voor alle relevante stukken. Het cvOM reageerde hier totaal niet op. Na enkele herinneringen heeft de man, ondersteund door het Flitsservice juristen team, een beroep op de Bestuursrechter te Assen gedaan om de Officier van Justitie (OvJ) te dwingen een beslissing te nemen. Op dagvaardingen werd wederom totaal niet gereageerd. Uit het onderstaande vonnis blijkt ook de irritatie van de rechter. De Bestuursrechter veroordeelde de OvJ om binnen 2 weken een beslissing te nemen op het WOB verzoek, of anders 250,- euro per dag te verbeuren aan eiser met een maximum van 10.000,- euro. De ovJ heeft 6 weken de tijd gehad om in verzet te gaan, maar wederom totaal geen reactie vanuit het cvOM.

Op 18 april werd de 10.000,- euro grens bereikt! Tijd om de Gerechtsdeurwaarder in te schakelen om het geld te innen. Deze procedure loopt nog, maar wij gaan uit van volledige medewerking van de Staat, wie dit uiteindelijk zal moeten ophoesten. “Regels zijn immers regels”, zo zegt Koos Spee, flitspaalofficier van Justitie, altijd graag en “daar heb je je maar aan te houden, dat is democratisch besloten”.

Are ad agencies so deprived of original thinking that the best they can do is recycle a forty-year-old soundtrack, and remake it shot-by-shot in CG?

What does this new version offer that the original didn’t? Less charm? Check. Uglier character designs? Check. Blander animation? Check. Fussy over-detailed backgrounds that overwhelm the characters? Check.

Computer animation is a wonderful tool. It’s a shame that more artists aren’t using it to explore new ideas which aren’t possible by other means, and instead use to incompetently replicate existing techniques.
