A former Blackwater employee and an ex-US Marine who has worked as a security operative for the company have made a series of explosive allegations in sworn statements filed on August 3 in federal court in Virginia. The two men claim that the company’s owner, Erik Prince, may have murdered or facilitated the murder of individuals who were cooperating with federal authorities investigating the company. The former employee also alleges that Prince “views himself as a Christian crusader tasked with eliminating Muslims and the Islamic faith from the globe,” and that Prince’s companies “encouraged and rewarded the destruction of Iraqi life.”

In their testimony, both men also allege that Blackwater was smuggling weapons into Iraq. One of the men alleges that Prince turned a profit by transporting “illegal” or “unlawful” weapons into the country on Prince’s private planes. They also charge that Prince and other Blackwater executives destroyed incriminating videos, emails and other documents and have intentionally deceived the US State Department and other federal agencies. The identities of the two individuals were sealed out of concerns for their safety.

  1. As an American, I am simply ashamed….

I hope the world knows, or comes to know, that the personalities and the events of this millennium do not represent or typify the beliefs of all Americans. I can’t even guess how long it will take to undo the damage done 2001-2009.

  2. As an American, I feel the whole Wolfowitz Gang and all their cronies from Oval Office on down to their Blackwater jackbooted death squads should be in prison for crimes against humanity.

The line taken by the Obama administration that lawfully prosecuting lawbreakers in the previous administration would make us a “Banana Republic” as each administration goes after the previous one, is incredibly wrong. We are not talking about the typical bribery and corruption that goes on in Washington, we are talking about high crimes on an unprecedented scale in U.S. history, of wholesale torture, murder and lying to the public in order to conquer a nation that was not responsible for the attacks of 9/11, when their real agenda was stealing the second-largest oil reserve in the world destabilizing the entire region so the American Empire could dominate it.

If I am ashamed of anything it is how the Congress and current President are trying to sweep it all under the rug and move on, rather than seeking the truth and justice.
