   So I picked NOS news. Selected a 3120 and than it tells me: “Sorry, not for that phone.” So though they do know it does not run on that phone. They wait until after I selected the phone to tell me no. This can be improved in so many ways. Like having a red circle around phones that can’t run the software or even better, ask me what phone I have first and only offer me software I can run.

   Besides I don’t think they tested all combination. Nokia phones are based of a few lines that are generally compatible. They might just have a database with information on phones. They can hardly ask you what line of phone you have, so they have to ask you the type.
