The Federal Bureau of Investigation stating all materials it holds regarding Carrier IQ are exempt from disclosure since it is used for law enforcement proceedings.

Feel safer yet?

  1. Probably as safe as in 1994 when CALEA was passed.

It’s part of that ongoing conversation I heard recently:
“If you’re doing nothing wrong, you won’t worry about us knowing.”
“If your intentions are good, why are you trying to hide it from us?”

  2. I find it funny that when the Soviets did the same, the US was almost hysterical about how “evil it is, a clear sign of oppression and dictatorship and omg!”

Comrade, if you have done nothing wrong – why are you so pale?
