Google’s transition into the new Microsoft is now complete: fancy-pants sci-fi concept video to promote stunningly awkward augmented reality glasses.

  1. I just want a pair of the X Ray specs that used to be advertised in the back of comic books when I was a kid… and I want them to work exactly like the advert said they would. Is that too much to ask in 2012?

  2. Hmm, the alternative is to be stumbling around poking at your iPhone I guess.

  3. I wonder if Google did Siri, would it be useful outside of the US? This whole talk concept is a bit awkward, but it doesn’t even work properly.

Siri understands and can speak the following languages:

English (United States, United Kingdom, Australia)

    French (France)

    German (Germany)

    Japanese (Japan)

It is expected that more languages and countries will follow before 2012 is over
