Argentina has announced the immediate evacuation of around 300 crew members from the ARA Libertad, a navy training ship seized in Ghana nearly three weeks ago as collateral for unpaid bonds dating from the South American nation’s economic crisis a decade ago.

NML Capital Limited, a so-called vulture fund, reportedly offered to free the ship for $20 million. Argentina is apparently not negotiating with “pirates”.
